Being an Artist

Art, may it be Sketching, Painting, or any other form often looks complex to many of us. But anybody can be an Artist. Let me show you how you can be one with out much trouble of learning how to use a paint brush and stuff....

Let's begin with simple art. Let us say you have an Old Shirt with you, which you like and does not want to give up. You can simple use some fabric colors and give it a new look. For Example I have a shirt which looks like the one in the picture (1)

I do not want to throw away that shirt. But it looks very old and worn out. Now, I have a remedy for this fabric. All I need : Old News Paper, Basic Fabric Paints box, some cellophane tape, any old paint brush, a sponge and my palm. Amazed?

Easy steps to follow.

.My Once up on a time Old Shirt.

  1. Place News Papers on an even floor.
  2. Select which side to paint and place the shirt evenly on the floor.
  3. Imagine any design which comes into mind.
  4. Take the sticky tape and paste it on the surface of the shirt as highlighted in the picture (2)
  5. Now, pick a color of your choice, paint that color along the tape. As the shirt is black, I picked Orange and painted over the tape.
  6. Now for a funky look you can paint your own palm in any color of your choice and just press on the surface of the cloth. I used white.
  7. If you got time, You may go ahead paint what every you want.. You can dip a piece of sponge in any color of your choice and give little touch-ups here and there and so on...
HAVE FUN
